The title of our 2024 show is “Under The Sea”. Each class or combination of classes will perform a themed dance at each of the performances. Our Drama classes will also be helping to link the story and our musical theatre and singing faculty will also have pieces in the show too. We invite all pupils (from 2yrs to Adults) to be involved. It is such a fun and fantastic experience that everyone joins us and then has a countdown to the next one! Performances will take place at The Point Theatre, Eastleigh and we are honoured to be returning to this prestigious theatre for the 6th time this year. There are several important and compulsory dates that you will need to pop in your diaries now to ensure that all our performers are available :- 12th May 2024 : full cast rehearsal at Swanmore College 13th June 2024 : full cast rehearsal at The Point Theatre (after school) 23rd June 2024 : full cast rehearsal at Swanmore College 29th June 2024 : technical/dress rehearsals during the day & eve performance (6pm) 30th June 2024 : matinee and evening performance (2pm & 6pm) Please also be aware that it is sometimes necessary to hold additional compulsory rehearsals to ensure the smooth running of the show as well as to ensure that all students are confident in their parts. We will confirm these dates and times as soon as we can. Tickets will be £16 for adults and £12 for concessions and will be available to purchase through The Berry Theatre website. (Adult tickets include a compulsory Theatre Restoration Fee) COSTS: Performance Fee: £35.00 per student (includes a digital download of the show, a T-Shirt and the 4 full cast rehearsals, additional show rehearsals may occur out of normal class time may also carry a small charge.) COSTUME CHARGES: Costumes charges will be finalised soon. We will ensure that they are kept to a minimum and we will be trying to use hire companies this year to help us keep your bills as low as possible. Sending lots of showtime magic!
